pardon me..

ive come to realize that i think i just have trouble with the initial season change in all shapes and forms. i have trouble with the transition from summer to fall to winter not only because im FREEZING, but also because it takes me some time to transition fashion wise. i mean how easy it is in the summer to just throw on a tshirt dress and be off, now we need to put a little more planning into what we wear so we dont freeeze our little asses off. it helps me to settle into this by finding pictures of outfits that are condusive to the cold but that are also real real hott on the body......here are some latest discoveries that have basically helped to dig me out of my seasonal rut

im wondering whether to keep these boots or not, part of me thinks theyre over the top and part of me loves the fact that theyre over the knee and soooo warm in the winter= practical...what do u think?

i have a crush.

this one has been a long time crush actually. i loooove love love adrien brody, LOVE HIM. i rented a movie the other night called "Brothers Bloom" with mark ruffalo, rachel weisz and, of course, my boyfriend adrien :) the movie was written and directed by Rian Johnson and its brilliant. i am always a person who is drawn to cinematography when i watch a movie. i remember when i first watched Amelie and was captivated by the rich colors throughout the movie, the director stated that it was his intention to carefully place colors with eachother to accentuate different emotions; red for love, etc. this movie is very similar in that the colors throughout the movie particularly in the clothing of the characters is so carefully executed that it really adds to the movie's appeal. of course the fashion is impeccable as is adrien brody's face ;) haha. check out the premise of the movie HERE

i love these! i love the whole 'aztecy' look and the bright colors. opening ceremony is selling them for way too much money. this girl found one at the thrift store for 3 dollars last season and i havent gotten to wear it yet.....well, its not the SAME one, but it gets the idea across. pictures to come, i guess there are SOME good things about brisk weather

ive been shamelessly watching dvds of Gossip Girl and dreaming of playing croquet..


no, really. i just saw this movie the other night while eating oreos and milk and thinking about how much money i spent over the weekend (monika and i went shopping). anyway, you should really see 'Lying,' the opening scene is this fabulous art deco living room with chloe sevigny roaming around wearing super short shorts with a geometric black and white pattern and a white button up with both sides of her hair thrown up in bobby pins. trust me, its a really pleasing visual.

but anyway, ive been feeling real down these days, TOTALLY BORED and totally depressed that winter is coming. ive been silently brainstorming my move to a warmer climate. im thinking i can only last one more year in NEw england for real.
