alice doesnt live here anymore

does anyone read this anymore?? leave a comment for me if you do.
everyone has a blog now, EVRYONE, its hard to keep up , i know.
well, last night, i couldnt get to sleep, my partner was snoring beside me, so i decided to put in a movie that i just got from netflix. directed by Mr. Martin Scorsese, this movie is so gritty, the camera work is so organic, you can see the camera wavering in every scene. now, obviously this movie is a true fashion inspiration, or i wouldnt "blog" about it. Starring the incomparable Ellen Burstyn, giving an Oscar-winning performance (one of the finest of the 1970s), this comedy-drama is tough, but never off-putting. After her husband dies, 35-year-old Alice Hyatt from New Mexico and her smart-mouthed 11-year-old son Tommy take to the road, chasing her girlhood dream of finding songbird success in Monterey, CA. They get stuck in Phoenix, where she meets up with a frightening Harvey Keitel. Later, waitressing at Mel & Ruby's Cafe in Tucson, she meets a gentle farmer who's had his share of heartbreak. Ellen Burnstyn's hair and outfits are so well put even though many of them involve the 70s favorite fabric, polyester. Lelia Goldoni plays Ellen's best friend in the movie and she is the cutest girl ever, i am planning on adding "Shadows" to my netflix queue, which is a John Cassavetes film from 1959 and stars Lelia Goldoni, has anyone seen this film????

Hello Eek,
I just saw, "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" for the first time. It's from 1972 and I was born in 1969, so it's no wonder. Especially since most people find it hard to watch old movies with today's technology in movies. Well, at least I do, lol. Anyhow, I loved the movie ! Even before I found out that she ends up in AZ, which is where I'm from, ha-ha. And I can see why Ellen won an Oscar for that role. The little boy was fabulous as well. Oh and I ALMOST didn't watch it because I saw that Kris Kristofferson was in it. Lemme tell ya though, THAT WAS THE BEST PERFORMANCE I'VE EVER SEEN HIM GIVE !
