Lately

1. friday: recovered from a massive hangover, discovered the most fabulous jumper at the thrift store, white with rust colored stripes. it doesnt zip all the way up the back, but i will be damned if i don't wear it every single day.
2. saturday: bought some bamboo blinds that ended up being too short for my window. i really need to make a trip to ikea soon.
most importantly, watched a movie that has now made it into a close second in my list of top favorite movies, "EAGLE VS. SHARK," which is a New Zealand made romantic comedy about a girl named Lily, a shy, wistful girl, a songwriter when no one is listening, and an unpopular cashier at a fast food restaurant who has a crush from afar on Jarrod, a self-assured eccentric geek who works in a video game store. They meet at a "dress as your favorite animal party" (which i will be sure to have at some point in the near future. the music in it is thoughtful and the guy in it is from the show flight of the conchords. i really and truly implore you to all see it immediately, if you trust me at all.
